Marc Noaro & Jon Harmer (Tiga SC80)
For the first time a “shared car” has won a SRCC Championship.
Wow, what a year… Our first full season in the car and typically lots of highs and lows, a couple of double victories for Jon at Thruxton and Brands GP being the highs and the split fuel tank causing a DNF and soaking Marc in fuel at Oulton being the big low. We’d like to thank all who make racing in the SRCC possible – the marshals and committee for their dedication and sheer hard work, Chaz and Kevin for bringing the race weekends to life and promoting the club, Locks for Vans and Yokohama for their support this year, our great mate Paul, the Thinking Mechanic, for all his ideas, help and good fun all year, and Chris Snowdon for his sage advice and willingness to lend parts and be on the end of the phone when anything goes wrong. Lastly, a big thanks to Carlo for keeping team #27 fed with amazing Italian food cooked up in the team caravan!
