As the seasons officially turned from summer into autumn, so the rain came down at Silverstone.
The wet conditions in the morning qualifying session suited young Michael Gibbins, who expertly steered his MCR into first place on the grid. Alongside him, was fellow MCR driver Joshua Law, with the second row made up of the Gunns of Tom Stoten and Nick Bacon.
Racing around the 1.85-mile International circuit, dryer track conditions in the afternoon session made for some great racing, as can be seen from the action shots below.
The season concludes at Brands Hatch next month. Hopefully we’ll be treated to some better weather!
